Where does the time go! I can't believe how big Wyeth has gotten. We weighed him at home on Friday, and he weighs just over 15 pounds! He's almost grown out of his 3-month clothes and is in the 3-6 month clothes (and soon to be the 6 month clothes). I need to get him some 6-9 month hats and socks for his big head and feet.

Wyeth loves his baths, and doesn't seem to mind when we get water in his eyes or he gets splashed. Most nights he has a float in the inflatable duck bathtub. One day it got a hole that JD patched, so while the patch was drying, we bathed Wyeth in the sink:
He is giggling and smiling and making all sorts of fun noises these days

The cats also LOVE Wyeth. He was sitting on the couch and we were playing with him when Nieve decided to sit on his lap. They were both quite content for a while (we were right there ready to intervene when either of them got tired of the arrangement), and it even looked as if Wyeth was petting her
It will be interesting to see how they feel about him when he starts being able to move!
Wyeth has really been enjoying his playmats. He makes all sorts of fun noises at the toys, and there is intention behind the movements of his hands. He can now grab things - there is a crinkle triangle toy that he likes to grab and pull, and he often grabs the tag on the lightning bug that is in the picture.
He is also starting to learn Peekaboo, although he likes it done a little differently - he likes us to put one of his light blankets on his head and then pull it off! He'll grab at it and laugh and giggle while we do it. We also do "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" with him, which he thinks is funny, "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and some other little play games. So far he's not a huge fan of books (or sitting still), but we enjoy reading to him
Wyeth travels pretty well in the car, and he likes being in his stroller (most of the time). We got a bike trailer for him, so it will be fun to go for longer distances with him, too! We took him out for the maiden voyage of the bike trailer on Sunday (strapped the car seat in to it - not quite what you're supposed to do, but it worked!), and went for a quiet ride on a beautiful paved trail here in Gainesville. He fell sound asleep, which I think means that he liked it.
I can't wait to see what the next month brings!
